Gerber- 85 LEGENDARY YEARS

Early in 2024, we had a marketing meeting where the subject of our 85th Anniversary came to light. The initial plan was just to post a blurb on Instagram, but we could tell this was a moment for the brand. Hell, it’s not every day that you turn 85. What came next was a six-month-long campaign full of images, knives, and stories dug up from our literal archive at Gerber HQ in Portland–ending with a limited-edition celebration chef knife that sold out in two days. The campaign was an immense success on many levels, and it remains one of my favorite things I’ve done with Gerber.

LAUNCHING A PREMIUM KNIFE

The 85th Anniversary ended with a beginning. We launched a special edition chef knife to harken back to our culinary roots. Sadly, we only made 85 of each color, and they flew off the shelves before I could snag my own.
